LIFE IN SCHOOL

High School of Economics is considered to be one of the best schools, not only in Banja Luka, but in Republic of Srpska, too. It is also one of the oldest schools in our town, founded in XIX century under the name of Trade School. By the beginning of the Second World War, there were only three schools of this kind in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It has been at the same location since 1951. and was expanded in 1964. with nine more classrooms. The school has enough space, 17 classrooms, 6 cabinets, a gym, a library, an amphitheater, a small projection room, administrative block and a new modern playground with floodlights for night use. It is equipped with modern teaching aids so that the teaching process can be successfully carried out. During the past year much has been done on furnishing and decorating the school. All classrooms were furnished and equipped.

Our school has the most experience in educating young people. This is just one of the reasons to enroll in our school. Teachers use their knowledge and proven experience to teach students in the most interesting and most accessible way. Good results of our students in regional, national and other competitions are a proof of the expertise of our teachers. You can find many extracurricular activities in the form of various clubs.
