THE WEDDING OF WILLIAM AND KATE

 

Kate Middleton and Prince William were married on Friday 29th April 2011 at Westminster Abbey, London. Catherine Middleton wore a dress designed by Sarah Burton. The dress was ivory gown with lace floral detail and an intricate train measuring two meters 70 centimeters. Her tiara was a little known 1936 Cartier "halo". It was loaned to her by the present Queen, a tradition for Royal Weddings. Prince William wore the uniform of his honorary rank of Colonel of the Irish Guards. William's best man was his brother, Prince Harry, while the bride's sister, Pippa, acted as her maid of honor.

 

 

 

Concerts in Banja Luka

 

Concert of “Partibrejkers” from Belgrade and Banja Luka band Aurora will be held on Tuesday, 22 June starting at 9 pm.

Apocalyptica is currently on the world tour, and will come to Banja Luka. They released a new album called “7 th Symphony”. The concert will be held on 4 th July, at 8 pm.

Guca will be held at the pool Fortuna 6.10.2011. beginning at 8 pm.

Many clubs in Banja Luka are visited by famous musicians. One of the clubs is “Kruna”. Evenings on aid for sick children are held there.Because of great reviews Sasa Kovacevic will perform at the club “Kruna” on the 17 th June. Ticket price is 10 KM.

Parni Valjak will perform on 18th June at Banja Luka’s  Kastel.

 

 

 

PARNI VALJAK RETURNS TO BANJALUKA

 After more than 20 years, this legendary band will return to Banja Luka, with a spectacular concert on 18th June. It’s going to be a big show. There will be more than 12.000 visitors, and tickets will cost 15 km and 30 km.

 “Banja Luka is very important to us. The city on the river Vrbas is only two hours drive from Zagreb and we’re going to play there after all this time. We are really looking forward to this concert “, said Hus from the studio in Zagreb, where he has completed a new album of Parni Valjak, which is excepted by the end of June.

 

The concert will start at 21:00 on the fortress Kastel and Parni Valjak will play all their hits like: “ Zastave”, “ Sve jos mirise na nju “, “ Jesen u meni “…Hits have helped them go through these years since their last performance in Banja Luka. They are just perfect on the concerts because every note has its place, light and sound reach the world’s highest achievements, and Aki, Hus, Brk, Preksi, Bero, Damir and Tina, from the first till the last minute of the concert, share their emotions honestly. They will play for 3 hours in Banja Luka.

Mediafest Banja Luka 2011

Emir Kustiruca and The No Smoking Orchestra ", Karim Rashid, Denis Latin, Oliver Kovacevic Vedran Strukar, John Stankovic, Daniel Ackermann, Vladimir Resner, Jonathan Gruber, Srdjan Saper, Gordana Susa, Aleksandar Jovanovic, Aleksandar Hršum, Vlatka, Dragan Marinkovic Maca, Mato Đaković, Dragan Davidovic, Jovan Maric, Vesna Milanovic ... ... are some of the confirmed names that will find a rich program of this year’s"Mediafest", which will be held in Banja Luka, a city on the Vrbas  from 9th to 12th June 2011.

In addition to the concert of Emir Kustiruca and The No Smoking Orchestra, the one who will open the festival and certainly attract attention is a charismatic showman, a superb designer and DJ - Karim Rashid.

 Rashid will prepare an unforgettable program spiced with great music and crazy colors. His most sincere desire and attitude is creativity that truly can and must change the world for the better.
